Get used to it... I'm going to talk about Julia

Rosie and I gazing at Julia. Rosie was mostly just petting Julia and saying "baby baby sister" I love this picture.
I went home yesterday to go see Julia. I got in the room and almost immediately snatched her from my brother-in-law. She is beautiful and a wonderful little girl. She is healthy and happy, loves to be held and loves to eat. That's honestly all you can ask from a newborn. She has this little short hair all over, is so soft, and definitely has that wonderful newborn baby smell that everyone always talks about. Her little toes are wrinkled and purple but are still adorable. She sleeps most of the time unless she's eating. She doesn't like when we change her sharty diapers. She even sharted when my hand was on her butt. I love her anyway.

Last night I was in the car with Rosie and she was going over her day. She's 19 months, so her mind is a little scattered. I asked her who she saw today and who was in her family. She said "Daddy, Momma. Sister! Baby sister!" I mean it was more like sisssssta but it counts. It's amazing that she just gets it that she has a baby sister. Then this morning I showed her pictures of Julia and every single time she said "sister! sister!" and loves her. The most adorable. Rosie towers over little Julia but it's amazing how fast they develop.

I'm enthralled.
